Sometime near 6:00 AM:
A sick person lies on the ground of a hospital waiting room adorned in the dark colors of late '70's furniture and the dawn light streaming through the window. A fairy flutters over the sick patient as the nurses behind the reception desk glance over their shoulders, uninterested. I watch fascinated as the fairy breathes into the mouth of the patient and I see their body turn into rainbow striped glass. The fairy touches the patients belly button and the glass shatters into uncountable pieces. "It was their time," the nurse says to me and I nod, speechless at the beautiful horror.
